About Me

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working in conjunction between the Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia, Università di Padova and CNR-IOM DEMOCRITOS Simulation Center, Trieste. I obtained my PhD at the Stephenson Institute for Renewable Energy at the University of Liverpool.  My research is primarily focused on developing simulation methods based on many-body perturbation theory for materials for solar technologies using state of the art Tier 0, Tier 1 and Tier 2 supercomputers.

Outside of work I have interests in health, fitness, programming and software design.  I recently competed as part of a four person team at The Colosseum Games and at Wild West Fitness.  In individual competition I have competed at the Oresund Games in Malmö, Sweden as well as having a place in the upcoming Winter Rainhill Trials in Manchester UK.
